Hi, I’m Emily… Founder of Fit Aviation & FitQueen (our parent company)

Back in 2015, I was 70lbs overweight, addicted to food & at war with my body image. I tried all of “in fashion’ diets at the time – low-carb, keto, weight watchers – the list goes on.

I would starve myself, be consumed by work, only to crash & then overeat. I’d restrict foods I enjoyed, only to binge on them later. No matter how well my professional life was going, the reflection in the mirror was still the same hurt, lost individual I grew up with. I knew something had to change…

After immersing myself into the study of hormones, collaborating with experts in nutrition, psychology & medicine, I lost the 70lbs. And it sparked a passion in me to help as many people as possible do the same thing.

And this is Henry… Airline captain & pilot of 13 years

Henry is my husband & he, like me, spent the majority of his childhood overweight. Whilst at University, it reached a peak of over 250lbs (115kg).

Now he was lucky. He had the time to focus over the summer break & drop his weight down to 180lbs (83kg) through some pretty harsh & unhealthy dieting.

A few years later he started flying commercially & quickly realized how the very early starts & night flying was again starting to impact his weight, and it just got harder when he started flying long haul & had to deal with the severe sleep disruption.

I met Henry in 2017 & I could see straight away how he was going from over indulgence to near starving himself just to keep his weight under control.
